Temirzhan Abdrakhmanov, Chairman of the Board of JSC NC Kazakhstan Engineering, paid a working visit to SMZ JSC in Semey.

At the moment, the plant, as part of the rehabilitation and a new rehabilitation plan, has been transferred to the management of OLJAKOL LLP, which is actively working as part of the development of civil industries and the implementation of orders for the railway industry, in particular, it continues to produce manhole covers for gondola cars, and is also in the process of certification of production and signing agreements with partners on the participation of the plant in the production of freight cars on the terms of industrial cooperation.

Currently, the plant employs 50 people. The sanatorium, in addition to the current salary, systematically pays the debt to the employees. To date, the debt for January-February 2023 has been paid for a total amount of over 35 million tenge. In the near future, repayment of salary arrears for March and April of this year is expected.

It should be noted that the debt was formed during the management of the enterprise by the former rehabilitation manager Alenov M.B., who did not fulfill any of the points of the rehabilitation plan approved by the court in 2022.

At the same time, the sanatorium cannot pay wages to former employees - financially responsible persons in the amount of 9 people (including Alenov M.B.), who, despite repeated notifications, did not transfer cases according to the acceptance certificate. These financially responsible persons have the right to receive their due salary after the transfer of cases.

In addition, materials regarding the former management of the plant were transferred to the prosecutor's office and the Department of Economic Investigation of the Abay region. The materials are attached to the criminal case under Article 189, Part 4, Clause 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Misappropriation or embezzlement of entrusted property of others, acts provided for in parts one, two or three of this article, if they are committed: on an especially large scale), within the framework of which investigations are being carried out.

NC Kazakhstan Engineering JSC expresses confidence that the sanatorium and the new rehabilitation manager, who have extensive experience in car building, will be able to restore the operation of the enterprise.
